How to turn opportunity into a real success.

Catella has been active on the German real estate market since 1990. Since our strategic realignment in 2006, we aimed to create a portfolio of services involving all aspects of real estate that supports investors efficiently in all phases of an investment cycle and for companies through individual solutions. This development and orientation toward transactions has been continuously expanded and promoted throughout 2008 and 2009.

Our range of services includes: Research and valuation, investment and letting, product management and development as well as capital markets, equity and debt advisory. We are active throughout Germany.

Since 2007, our Munich office is also the site of the investment company Catella Real Estate AG Kapitalanlagegesellschaft. Its 20 employees develop fund products for institutional investors and wealthy private clients. Each fund has a different focus - in terms of both regions and asset classes.

From 2006 through 2008, Catella Germany lead-managed real estate transactions worth approximately 8 billion euro, and additionally provided transaction focused consulting services with a total value of some 25 billion euro.

That stretches from our largest ever portfolio transaction in Germany's office sector, worth some 2.5 billion euro, to rentals on units of 250 m². We don't focus on the size of the transaction; we want to achieve success by creating solutions.

Successes that were achieved in cooperation with well-known companies, which at the same time got to show how vital it is to respond individually to each client's needs and expectations.
